Some say better than freud read jung. Ofcourse they were Teacher and student in one point of there life.

If you haven't read Frued, don't go for Jung. His symbolistic studies will make your head spin, you need a basis of thinking in that direction, Freud provides that direction.
Of course, having said that, I should mention that all I've read are aticles explaining Jung and Frued, and I just started Frued myself. Same book. :)
