Darkness Dawned

The Eyes were opening up. The eyelids strained to shake off the clinging remnants of sleep. Yet, Sleep was clinging on tenaciously. It knew that it had to let go, but it didn’t want to, yet. The glare of the sun was blinding the Eyes. Darkness was much more beautiful when compared to this harsh Light. It was seeping in through the windows, and announcing in a loud manner that the day was still alive. There were no clouds in the sky to temper the Light’s impudence.

The day was almost gone. The Light had some more time left, before darkness was to engulf all. The Earth is a funny thing, no? It spins, to keep the Light flashing on its surface. Maybe, it is the yin yang is a grand scale. Who knows.

The cool Night Wind had come to give solace to the weary. Solace was turning into the Devil’s fun for some. Chill had set in, crackling bones, which were shivering to its deadly tune. Yet, the Blood was flowing strong deep within the body. A heat which defied the Night was burning strong within. The Eyes of the Yeti were wide open now. .
