How the hell do people exist? Or rather how the hell do they convince themselves to live?
Well. I think that when they run out of reasons, they try to get entwined in the world. Create more strings to be strung up with. Become obligated. All in the quest to feel...wanted?
Maybe. Still, if they go to a quiet place, and think about things again, they can always see through the fabric of life and become 'enlightened' or 'depressed' with the fact that their existence was inevitable, and probably no one could change the way things are, have been and going to be.
I cannot agree with that simply because there is no concrete proof to support this theory of your's. Still I have to concede that things do appear to be pre destined sometimes. The whole cause and effect thing.
Yeah. That's the shadow which follows us around. The feelings of pre destiny, and destiny. The feeling that nothing is really unpredictable.
Things appear to be chaotic and upredictable simply because of the assymetry of information. Since we don't know all the information about the factors which influence the weather, we call it unpredictable, and term it as a chaotic system!
Meks me cringe because of our ignorance.
Heck, rejoice man. For ignorance is bliss.
Nah. It's scary. The unknown is always scary.

Existence is overrated :)
How the hell do people exist?
Hell is other people. :)
You know, Maybe existence.. just happened, happens and happening. Sometimes we question it and it starts to look bleak.
But the best way to live the minutes of our life is to fill with not meanings, but little bouts of moments. For which we don't seek others. Dependence for emotions on others could only lead to exasperation when its not available.
There is no convincing needed to live. Just live. Get happy. Nothing need be perfect. Nobody knows where it leads. So there is no set rule to live, though our society might make some- that which is based on only familiarity..
So at the end of day, we actually get what we always wanted. if we want sad, sad happens. Want happy, that too happens.
And this too shall pass. Whatever it maybe :)
Sorry to take over blog-space..
Word Verification - heck!
Ya, what the heck :)
You speak of the unpredictability of life and then attribute that unpredictability to the fact that we aren't equipped with the blueprint of our lives. Thank Heavens for that! How utterly unbearable it would be if we knew exactly what was about to happen every moment of every single day!!!Now that's EXISTENCE not LIVING!
Having said that, there is the aspect of self will. If you don't care for the way things are going in your life, you do have the power to change it...perhaps not always possible to change the circumstances but a change in attitude does lend a different perspective! What the heck! Give it a shot! And guess what? This too shall pass!
People convince them to live because once you die, you don't exist anymore to decide whether to live or not. And half the people and i am far from optimism don't have a clue what they are doing in life.
And to be honest, all that we do in life is directly what we hear or see others doing or wanting to do, thinking that is the way to live life.
Curiosity, if nothing else suffices, is a reason
